A fit aesthetic body does not always equal a body in optimal health.
A body in optimal health equals a healthy body!
Healthy mind
Healthy emotionally
Healthy physically
This fact is super important to me because I am in several private online fitness groups on FB. Where all topics health and fitness are discussed with a primary focus on aesthetics only.
Lots of questions asked such as…
How do I get more calories in to build a bigger booty etc.
I am often shocked by things I hear coming from trainers… eat rice crispies and all kinds of filler foods that offer zero nutritional value to the body. And actually derail the health of the GUT aka as our immune system.
How often do we see people who look fit die early?
How many professional body builders are aging in a great amount of pain and discomfort?
It’s why my primary focus is health first and understanding what I am eating, what it means for my body. Aesthetics second knowing that if I focus on proper nutrition aka as eating foods that benefit and heal, proper supplementation aka as supplementing vitamin and minerals needed based on environmental factors and for me my disease, strength training to maintain bone density and a well balanced strong body, and mindset to not get swept away in hype and extremes that ultimately harm.
If I stayed on the surface I might be eating rice crispies to bulk. I have had trainers throughout my years give me the most ridiculous restrictive diets plans to bulk and cut.
Science shows it is so not necessary.
My studies go deep into the science and medical studies that show links between foods and diseases- foods that cause inflammation… and with a neurological disease foods that have a negative impact on cognitive brain function and the nervous system.
Want to lose fat and build optimal health? Heal the GUT!
That is what my nutrition guide is all about- lifestyle change to end dieting and yo-yo weight shifts.
Want to gain more muscle? Eat more protein than you do in maintenance.
My nutrition guide builds in best practices for alcohol and splurges… and the frequency of such when you have fat to lose.
Your timeline for how quickly you reveal and if you ever reveal your work in the gym is entirely up to your choices of beverage and nutrition.
Inflammation doesn’t lie!
When a client walks in I can tell if they had a cocktail the night before or a weekend of splurges.
People don’t fully understand what moderation means and how often moderation can be utilized in a fat loss period.
I keep it real and most still long for that magic pill because it’s hard fucking work to make change and when it becomes easy it’s easy as fuck to live it and you will have never felt better.
Just saying…
Sometimes we all need reminders to put our big girl panty and big boy underwear on and take ownership of the current shape our health, our fitness, and our body is in.
It’s not age, it’s how we have cared for ourselves throughout the years that makes us feel aged.
Extra weight is extra pressure on every organ, every bone, and every joint.
