Let’s leave in 2020 all the bullshit; all the people pleasing by being and doing what others feel we should or should not do, who we should or should not be, what we should or should not talk about; what we should or should not post; what we should or should not wear; where we should and should not go; you know… all the fake unauthentic people judging because it’s so much easier to talk about others than to face ones own shit! It’s so much easier to blame others than it is to look at ourselves in the mirror and get real, be real, and take ownership … and be our authentic self.
Fear holds us back! Fear of judgement and what we might lose… who may exit our lives.
What is holding back costing you?
What are you denying yourself, your life, your body, your spirit, your heart, etc?
I believe the root for most people who have weight issues is not just a love for food, unhealthy habits and/ or sedentary lifestyles. I believe it’s caused by a disconnect in their life. They are not happy in one or more areas and are abusing their bodies by overeating, eating foods that harm the body, and not caring for themselves because they have lost their feeling of worthiness. Some turn to alcohol, others drugs, other addictions… and many food.
By the way, this unhealthy and unfit lifestyle doesn’t always show up as fat and out of shape. For some it shows up as starvation (anorexia), others binging and purging (bulimia), and it can even be someone who exercises to the extreme.
The bottom line is how the disconnect of what we portray and try to be to and for others for their acceptance and their approval and what our truth is shows up! It holds us back and even cripples us! We may think we are doing a good job fooling others and maybe we are. However. we can truly never fool our inner being.
It shows up and it wreaks havoc- the cost paid is high!
To redirect it takes accountability, mindset coaching, empowerment, nutritional improvements, strength training to reset the metabolism, support of someone who may have to care more about your goals for you until you reclaim your worth to care and love yourself again, and someone who never judges because it’s never about perfection… it’s about progress.
That is what I am all about! I am a holistic health and fitness coach!

I stumbled across your blog, and soon realized that is perhaps more geared towards women than men. Notwithstanding that perception on my part, I must say that your “no-nonsense” philosophy is something from which everyone could benefit!

My platform is health and fitness for both men and woman of all ages! I am passionate about helping others make change to live a truly healthy and fit lifestyle and what that means.
If you go back and read other blogs I have written you will notice some are geared to both sexes, some geared more towards men, and others more towards woman.
However, I think you might find that each post benefits both sexes as the more a woman learns about a man and man learns about a woman
the better we can understand, support, and uplift each other in growth and betterment. Improving relationship bonds emotionally, sexually, etc.
That, my friend, is part of coming into a truly health and fit lifestyle.

Agreed!! With so many great pro/ amateur athlete-examples of both sexes represented in today’s health culture, women no longer feel the need to suppress their physicality …nor should men feel hesitant to seek out expertise, because they should “naturally” be adept at fitness & healthy living habits .
